The Nature Conservancy Campaign

Nature.org – Video Campaign

“You’re in a heatwave.
It’s so bad, you can barely think. And your doctor just prescribed you…nature…
Wait, what?”

This is how one of the latest video series for The Nature Conservancy begins: with a reminder that nature isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s fundamental to our health.

The campaign created with illo tackled this and much more: from the health nexus to freshwater habitats, from blue carbon to climate adaptation, we dove into some of the most pressing arguments of our time. And we did it armed with data, engaging narratives and easy-to-digest concepts.
I mean, sure, the overarching theme seems to be that we massively messed up and now we’re going to face the consequences of our silly actions.
Welcome to the Anthropocene, yadda, yadda.

But the people at The Nature Conservancy know there’s much more than what meets the eye. So they came up with a lot of context, heaps of data, relentless optimism and practical solutions for a way out, that’s also a way in.

And that is exactly what we boiled down into these 2-minute videos: complex concepts packed into bite-sized information, relevant data put into context and science talk made easy. The human element is constant, shedding light on the people already experiencing the consequences of reckless decisions and narrow policies.

The conclusion? Pretty straightforward: act now to make it til later.
